Health For All: Medical Outreach Program Reaches Obeagu Community.

Enugu Province, Nigeria-BiafraLand.

In a heartwarming display of compassion and community spirit, The Breast Without Spot (BWS) and East Side Ventures, through the Gaius Chibueze Foundation, recently visited Obeagu community in Enugu for a comprehensive medical outreach program.

The event provided free medical screenings for prostate, cervical, and breast cancer, as well as vaccinations for Hepatitis B (HBV) and Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Additionally, routine health checks were conducted, including blood pressure, glucose, dental, and eye exams.

This humanitarian effort brought much-needed medical attention to the community, promoting health awareness and early detection of potential health issues. The Biafra Sun commends the organizers for their selfless dedication to improving the well-being of our people.

IPOB's Resolve Hardens: Assassination of Biafra Land Coordinator Will Not Go Unpunished

Eket Province, Nigeria-Biafraland.  The Directorate of State (DOS) and the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have made a heartbreaking announcement regarding the assassination of Mazi Ikechukwu Ugwuoha, the Biafra Land National Coordinator. Mazi Ugwuoha was tragically murdered by suspected Nigerian government agents near his residence in Aba, Abia State, on October 18th, 2024. According to IPOB, Mazi Ugwuoha was targeted for his role in coordinating a peaceful movement advocating for Biafra's independence. His assassination is seen as part of a wider effort to instill fear among IPOB members and sympathizers. However, IPOB vows that the fear of death will not deter its mission, declaring that those responsible for this heinous act have "murdered sleep in their eyes." Following the submission of a Yoruba Nation petition at No. 10 Downing Street by Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho , the controversial Odudwa Nation agitator, on 10th October 2024, the British High Commission and Nigeria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs have clarified their positions on the matter. In a joint statement from the British High Commission and Nigeria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both parties emphasized that the petition was not officially endorsed by the UK government or its Parliamentary Petitions Committee.
