IPOB Lauds Zion Ministry for Alaigbo Headquarters Move
Orlu Province, Nigeria-Biafraland.
The Nationalist Movement, Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB in short, which is led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has showered praises on the Evangelist and the founder of Zion Ministry, after the ministry’s headquarters was moved to Alaigbo. IPOB commended this step forward as a true manifestation of the passion and love for developing the Igbo land.
In a statement dated Aug 27, 2024, IPOB declared that it is aware of the significance of this movement and of the fact that it is timely even if at this time may be chaotic. The organization is convinced that this step taken by Evangelist Obi is very topical and very appropriate in the present circumstances for the economic recovery of South East. IPOB has appealed to other Igbos who are into business to also follow this example and come back to Alaigbo with their money, factories and assets. The group warned that if such a course of action is not taken at this time, it might be too late.
The Press Release noted the successful holding of Zion Ministry's 100 days of the year annual convention closing in Ngor Okpala LGA of Imo State which directed a lot of attention to the East, stealing traffic that was hitherto for Lagos. IPOB thanked the people of Amala, Ntu, and Eziama in Ngor Okpala for making available lands for this great project.
Thus, IPOB again reminded Ndigbo of their investments in the east stating the region was secure and suitable for investment. The organization appreciated and awarded those companies that have sustained the region’s economy through their establishments such as Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company, Ibeto Group, Masters Energy Ltd, amongst others.
In addition, IPOB also called on the youths and the traditional rulers of Ngor Okpala council to ensure that perpetual peace is restored and maintained with quick emphasis on discouraging cases of crimes that may deter any intending investors to setup businesses that would employ the youths in the area.
Lastly, IPOB reiterated its quest for the security of Alaigbo with the ESN as responsible for the security and wellbeing of the people of the East. The organization challenged all Ndigbo whether living in Nigeria or in the diaspora to come out boldly and take their investments to a region which is predicted to be an economic hub in Africa.
