Lolo Uchechi Kanu Sends Condolences Following the Death of Senator Ifeanyi Uba
Umuahia Province, Nigeria-BiafraLand.
This morning the Igbo nation was shocked to learn about the death of Senator Ifeanyi Uba who died in the early hours of yesterday. This bereavement comes in series with other recent losses that include Mazi Chukwuemeka Ezeife and Mazi Iwuanyanwu to mention but a few.
Many people have come out to sympathise and condole the family, including Lolo Uchechi Kanu, the wife of Nnamdi Kanu. This morning she issued a statement in which she expressed her sympathy and solidarity with the Senator’s wife, Mrs. Uchechi Uba and their children.
“I have become quite acquainted with disappointments and the uncertainty that life serves most times. Each time it serves its blow, I feel the sharp pain cut through my heart like the sharp blade of a butcher that first slits the skin of the animal carcass awaiting to be flayed. And so does my pain wear another skin each time the old skin of pain molts away like a snake’s skin. But I stay in the hope that it will molt away soon.''
Recalling the impermanency of life, she went on to say, “When I received the heart-bleeding news of Senator Ifeanyi Uba during the early hours of yesterday morning 27 July 2024, I first became dumb. How transient is life? indeed, Some months ago it was Mazi Chukwuemeka Ezeife, Mazi Iwuanyanwu and now Senator Ifeanyi U. I am still shaken, but the first voice I can find is to send my consoling prayers with a contrite spirit to his wife Mrs. Uchechi Uba and children. Hold strong, for the universe is holding up for you all.''
Another notable political personality of this period was Senator Ifeanyi Uba who was actively involved in strategy formulation for the improved growth of this region. Many have paid their last respects to him in connection to their esteem for the dedication he had towards public affairs.
In this disappointing outlook the nation is informed of yet another monumental blow that has befallen the nation, a vivid reminder to all the ephemeral nature of life and the need to come together at such trying moments.
