Release Nnamdi Kanu ~Catholic Bishops.
The Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) has urged President Bola Tinubu to release the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
The call was made by Most Reverend Lucius Ugorji, President of the CBCN, who explained that Kanu's release would pave the way for economic and security recovery in the southeast region of the country.
The Catholic bishops emphasized the importance of ensuring justice and equity for all Nigerians and urged Tinubu to take the necessary steps to address the concerns of the people. The CBCN's call for the release of Kanu comes amid ongoing protests and agitations for self-determination in the region.
