Nigeria Police Unleash terror on Shi'ite Procession.

Abuja, FCT Nigeria.

Tragedy struck today as Nigerian security forces brutally suppressed a peaceful Shi'ite procession, leaving a trail of destruction and chaos in its wake. Eyewitnesses report that police fired teargas and live ammunition into the crowd, resulting in multiple injuries and feared fatalities.

The procession, organized by the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), was peacefully proceeding when security forces suddenly descended upon the participants, unleashing a hail of bullets and teargas canisters. Panic ensued as protesters scrambled to escape the carnage.

Details of the incident are still emerging, but sources confirm that several people have been rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. The exact number of casualties remains unknown, but fears are growing that the death toll may be substantial.

This latest crackdown is part of an ongoing campaign of repression against the IMN and its leader, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, who has been imprisoned since 2015. The Nigerian government's actions have sparked widespread condemnation from human rights groups and international organizations.
