Sowore Reveals Deep-Seated Issues Driving National Protests

Nigeria-Oduduwa.

In a powerful statement addressing the Nationwide planned #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria, #DaysOfRage revolt, activist Omoyele Sowore have attributed the widespread unrest to a combination of systemic issues plaguing Nigeria as a country. According to Sowore, the primary organizers of the revolt are not individuals but the pervasive conditions of Hunger, Unemployment, Insecurity, Poverty, and Corruption that have left many Nigerians feeling desperate and disillusioned.

Sowore emphasized that these conditions have created a fertile ground for unrest, driving citizens to demand better governance and accountability. "These issues are not mere statistics but the lived reality of millions of Nigerians," Sowore stated. "Hunger, Unemployment, Insecurity, Poverty, and Corruption are the true organizers of this revolt. Until these root causes are addressed, the call for change will continue to echo across the nation."

The #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria has gained significant traction, with different actors calling for protests in various cities as citizens rally for comprehensive reforms. Sowore's remarks underscore the deep-seated frustrations that have fueled this movement, highlighting the urgent need for systemic change to address the fundamental challenges facing Nigeria.
